...to get my computer back this week. Actually, I'd just like a call in the next couple of days to say it's repairable and on the way back to me. I've been just over three weeks without poker and it's hurting. I've watched so many DVDs and played enough computer games that I'm now fresh out of things to do. I physically need to play poker, I'm an addict and need my fix.
In the meantime, a few poker bits and pieces have been going on. The 'November nine' are set for the WSOP Main Event final table. It feels odd to play that many days of a tournament, then it suddenly halts so close to the finish line. It'll be interesting to see how the dynamic of the whole thing changes when the destiny of the title is decided later this year.
Poker After Dark has been premiering new episodes recently, made all the more intruiging with the cash game format. I don't think I'm alone in expressing a new level of dislike for Phil Hellmuth. His voice must take up 40-50% of the airtime, it's particularly annoying. It's as though he feels it's his divine right to win in every game he plays. His record in cash games isn't great, so suck up and quit with the whining.

Good luck with your computer! I liked your comments about Phil so used it as a basis for a blog post, hope you don't mind. :) Properly credited and linked to of course!
